3X4 Genetics Returns and Refund Policy

This policy works in tandem with our Terms of Service and applies to you if you pay 3X4 directly. If you have paid your practitioner directly for your test, please ask them about their policy.

  1. General 

    1. This policy is governed by 3X4 Genetics’ Terms of Service and applies to you if you pay 3X4 directly. If you have paid your provider directly for your test, please ask them about their policy.

    2. To submit a request to cancel or return your order, email info@3X4genetics.com or call 425-818-5333.

    3. Returns are only valid once they have been authorized by 3X4 Genetics and returned to the correct return address provided by us at the time of authorizing the return.

    4. Refunds can only be issued back to the original payment method.

  1. 30-Day Refund Policy 

    1. You have 30 days from the date of purchase to cancel or return your order. Thereafter, the sale is final.

    2. If you have confirmed or paid for your order and we are able to cancel the order at the time of processing your request, you can cancel the order and we will refund the full amount that you paid. Cancellations are only possible if the order has not yet started processing at our fulfillment center, which typically happens within minutes of order confirmation. We strongly recommend calling us as soon as possible to request a cancellation, as we cannot guarantee cancellations once an order has been placed.

    3. You may return your 3X4 DNA Kit(s) to 3X4 Genetics, provided the kit(s) are unopened, the kit code(s) are not registered, and the kit(s) packaging and components are still in their original condition, and your return shipment arrives within 30 days from the date of purchase, and we will refund the amount that you paid, minus a $50.00 handling fee. 

  1. Completion of DNA Sample 

    1. You must ship your completed DNA sample within 6 months of receiving your 3X4 DNA Kit(s).

    2. If you do not return your Completed DNA Sample within 6 months of receiving your 3X4 DNA Kit, you will need to purchase a new 3X4 test at the current retail price.

    3. If you have purchased stock of 3X4 DNA Kit(s)

      1. You have 6 months to dispense the kit(s) to your clients. 

      2. If you have not dispensed your stock of 3X4 DNA Kit(s) within 6 months, you will need to purchase new 3X4 test(s) at the current retail price. 

  1. Damaged, Defective & Expired DNA Kits 

    1. If you receive a shipment of 3X4 DNA Kit(s) from 3X4 directly: 

      1. If your kit(s) are visibly damaged upon delivery, you need to inform us within 2 weeks of delivery and we will replace the kit(s) at no charge.

      2. If you discover that your kit(s) are missing components, components are damaged, and/or have passed their expiry date, you need to inform us immediately upon discovery and we will replace the kit(s) at no charge, provided it is less than 6 months since delivery of the kit(s).

      3. If you have purchased stock of kits and discover that your kit(s) are missing components, components are damaged, and/or have passed their expiry date, you need to inform us immediately upon discovery and we will replace the kit(s) at no charge, provided it is less than 12 months since delivery of the kit(s).

      4. If you have purchased stock of kits, and dispensed them within 6 months, and discover the kit(s) expire in less than 12 months since delivery of the kit(s), you need to inform us immediately upon discovery and we will replace the kit(s) at no charge.

    1. If you receive 3X4 DNA Kit from your provider:

      1. If you discover that your kit(s) have passed their expiry date, you need to inform your provider immediately upon discovery. 

  1. Shipping & Sample Failures

    1. Shipping Delays & Failures. If your 3X4 Kit(s) have been shipped to you by 3X4, or if you use the return shipping label provided by 3X4, and there is an excessive delay with the shipment, we will replace the kit(s) at no charge, provided you are not responsible for causing the delay.

    2. DNA Sample Failures
      1. If we are unable to generate a report using your DNA Sample, 3X4 will arrange for you to receive a replacement DNA Kit, on two occasions only, at no additional cost to you.
      2. If we are unable to generate a report with your DNA Sample after three attempts, you will be refunded in full and may not submit another sample. 
  1. Handling Fees

    1. Failure to follow the instructions provided by 3X4 may result in delays or additional handling fees.

    2. If your 3X4 DNA Kit(s) were sent to an incorrect shipping address provided by you or your provider, we will send you replacement kit(s) for a handling fee of $50.00 per kit.

    3. If you need additional 3X4 DNA Kit(s) to be delivered to you because you lost, damaged, contaminated, mislabeled, damaged, and/or mishandled your DNA Kit or DNA Sample, and/or you registered your DNA Kit Code incorrectly or returned your DNA Sample without registering your Kit Code, 3X4 will deliver replacement kit(s) to you, for a handling fee of $50.00 per kit.

    4. If you need additional 3X4 DNA Kit(s) to be delivered to you or your client because you lost, damaged, contaminated, mislabeled, damaged, and/or mishandled your client’s DNA Kit or DNA Sample, and/or you registered their DNA Kit Code incorrectly or returned their DNA Sample without registering their Kit Code, 3X4 will deliver replacement kit(s) to you or your client, for a handling fee of $50.00 per kit.
